Fisherman's Wharf
An interesting place for an afternoon stroll.
Fishing boats, unique take-out restaurants and a community of float homes, some with artful designs.

The docks are always open to public access and there is ample public parking.
Antique Row
The area along Fort Street running east from Blanshard Street is known as Antique Row.
Crowded with curiosity shops it attracts many a shopper looking for unique one-of-a-kind items.
East of Vancouver Street are also some nice restaurants.
Goldstream Park
Famous for the annual salmon runs in the Goldstream River, and the large numbers of bald eagles that congregate at that time.
Gigantic 600 year old Douglas-fir and Western Red Cedar stand on the Goldstream River floodplain.
An awe inspiring place to visit. There is an interpretive center located along the trail.
Royal B.C. Museum
The museum offers both local history and touring exhibits from around the world.
Past year's exhibits have included Leonardo da Vinci, Egyptian Antiquities, The Titanic and Genghis Khan.
Art Gallery of Greater Victoria
The gallery possesses notable works by Emily Carr and other Canadian artists.
It houses one of Canada's most significant collections of Asian art.
The gallery grounds include an authentic Japanese Shinto shrine.
Beacon Hill Park
An urban retreat, a place to relax and enjoy nature.
The park has over 200 species of trees, a petting zoo, putting green, tennis courts, a cricket field,
flower gardens, duck ponds, roaming peacocks, picnic areas, playgrounds.
The top of Beacon Hill offers a majestic view of the Olympic Mountains across the Juan de Fuca strait.
Seaside Greenspace
The southern side of James Bay is made up of public parkway and greenspace running along the Juan de Fuca Strait.
Very popular with walkers and joggers any time of the day.
Breath deep, this is some of the cleanest air on the planet.
